Our History

In 1991, the Coalition for Nurses in Advanced Practice (CNAP) was organized to accelerate legislative endeavors in Texas for Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs). Resources and collaborative efforts were needed in order to achieve common goals. Read details of CNAP history.

Our Members

CNAP is a coalition of advanced practice nursing organizations that includes all statewide APN organizations.

Since CNAP is a coalition of organizations, it does not have individual members. However, 50% of CNAP’s annual operating budget is funded through individual contributions from APNs. Become a CNAP Partner.
