In 1991, the Coalition for Nurses in Advanced Practice (CNAP) was organized to accelerate legislative endeavors in Texas for Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs). Resources and collaborative efforts were needed in order to achieve common goals.
The resources in this section inform APNs on laws and regulations concerning prescriptive authority, regulation, reimbursement., and workplace issues by offering informative articles and links to professional web sites. APNs may also access pertinent slide presentations for their own benefit or for advocacy efforts. A list of responses to frequent questions is also available.
